Quote: “Dorothy worlds are about structure. A game with no rules is no game at all. If you remove too much structure, you remove the game. Classes are structure, and removing them takes away an interesting decision (i.e., a piece of game play) and diminishes them as a game. Also from a practical point of view, if you don’t have classes the players will max their characters out in every direction so they became invincible machines that can fight heal, and lob fireballs with impunity.”(110)
Comment: Makes sense, I never though how in “The Wizard of Oz” Dorothy already had an immediate quest for her to embark on.
Question: Wouldn’t Dorothy’s world be like Alice’s without structure already?
